Ok So, I’ve finally done some catching up! Yaaayyy! I think I still have two more shoots yet to post, but I’m much further along than I was!

I just wanted to take a quick second to address my pricing changes. I’m now entering my second year as a professional. I’ve learned a lot this year, gotten a lot of new stuff; I’ve gotten insured, got some fabulous packaging, and I’ve met some AMAZING people. Im really just so happy with the way things are going. SO, as you can imagine I was a little apprehensive about changing my pricing. I hemmed and hawed A LOT about it actually. But I’ve decided that I think I’m making the right choice. My session fees have stayed the same, but I am no longer including a CD with your session (some call it the ‘halmark of an amateur’.) and rightfully so perhaps, since both reading, and personal experience has led me to believe in order to have a successful photography business, you need to sell prints. And generally speaking, when you give a CD away with your session, you don’t get print orders. That I have learned. Another huge thing I’ve learned is that, in this fast paced, busy world we live in, a lot of times we think we’ll have time to run to Wal Mart, or sit and order prints online for not only us, but aunt Jayne, and Mom and Dad, and, oh yah, Grandma! But we don’t. I don’t! I’m ashamed to admit that I still have a CD of awesome pictures that I intended to make prints from, and I still haven’t! SO! By sort of…dare I say…forcing you to buy prints….while it might hurt at first, I’ve decided, and I truly believe, my clients will be happier in the long run when they have gorgeous- TOP QUALITY prints hanging on their wall from a session, that I know, they treasure greatly.
Another thing ive done to try and ‘ease the pain’ is I have taken 20% off your total print order. I haven’t decided how long I will be offering that, so keep that in mind. Another important thing to keep in mind, is, ‘a la carte’ pricing, is premium pricing. Print Packages offer large discounts. I intend to add that information to each package soon. )how much you save with each package).
